5G WIFI not recognising SSID and reported unstable

From user @ash

English Translation:

The connection to the wifi network is not stable.
2.4ghz connection is possible, but 5ghz band cannot recognize SSID. Since it can be recognized and connected with a smartphone at the same place and at the same time, it seems that there is no problem with the line

I’m sorry I don’t have time right now to look into this. I understand that I think others had this issue on IndieGoGo page as I briefly recall it mentioned.

I hope the community can help.

Work around is to connect using 2.4G mode only for now. Again this sounds like a driver issue to me.

Potential things to try first. @ash

  1. Make sure you have downloaded the official drivers first from the internet here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1h_sK_HRAYZ14XxDeMxIsW_rosqFsh2I- or have access to another machine with internet access just in case things go wrong.

  2. Update the Drivers for the Wireless adapter to latest drivers using device manager.
If your not sure how to do this then see this https://windows10skill.com/download-and-update-wifi-drivers-for-windows-10/#1 or if your not comfortable then please wait for official GPD response.

  3. If windows device manager update driver doesn’t work try uninstalling and re-installing manually the Wireless adapter driver from the downloaded gpd drivers you downloaded in step 1.

  4. Make sure to change your Channel settings on your router.

If you’ve tried all of the above and still having issues, please reply on here. Thank you.
