Hi ! Got my Pocket 4 last week and it is a beast in terms of speed etc. Changed language to Swedish and installed a few programs. Works like a charm when connected to the mains but when I run it on battery power it suddenly runs very slow. Programs take forever to start. The menus are lagging. Games stuttering.
The CPU seems to be ok. No core reach 100 percent. Plenty of memory left. Some disk activity but not 100 %. Changed all power schemes to max power. Stopped disk, pci etc to stop after 1 minute. Reinstalled Windows first with a USB stick with the downloaded version from GPD. Reinstalled from a fresh Windows iso. Still works wonderful when plugged in but a snail on batteries. Any ideas?

Furter investigation shows that the disk is very active when running on battery. In taskmanager it goes up to 75 % and stays there while it lies aroun 0 to 15 % on mains. The program that runs is system and others.

When you swapped our NVME drives did you properly reinstalling all of the GPD Pocket 4 drivers? Seems like this could have contributed to the issue that you were seeing, and is the most likely candidate for the problems you mentioned here. Unless, of course, if the drive you installed was defective.

Cloned the disk. Partition manager. Cloned again to another brand and all is ok. The first disk works ok in another computer as as a drive with data on it.
