I just bought the GPD Pocket 4. I must say that it is a great product. Thank you.
Now I have one question: When I turn the product into Tablet Mode, I cannot find anyway to type or write on it because there is no on-screen keyboard or on-screen writing pad automatically displayed in Tablet Mode. Please kindly advise solution for typing or writing on screen when changed to Tablet Mode. Thank you very much !!
One thing you can do is to open taskbar setting by right clicking your taskbar and clicking on that. Then under those settings you’ll see the following:
Ensure you have this set to always, because it relies on the keyboard being disconnected to enable normally.
This will give you an icon on your taskbar you can use to trigger the keyboard manually:
However, I believe when the display is rotated and set down on the keyboard the system driver should be triggering a keyboard disconnect and this would allow touch input to trigger the onscreen keyboard. Perhaps reinstalling the pocket 4 driver might help with this.
